WHO IS AFRIMUHERE ?
The African Museums and Heritage Restitution (AFRIMUHERE) was established in 2021 in Nairobi Kenya in response to calls by the African heritage community for a continental heritage and museums association. It was launched during a well-attended webinar in November 2021. AFRIMUHERE’s mandate is to safeguard, promote and facilitate restitution of African heritage.
